Cheyene Grandfield has attended the Meridian School District for 12 years.

Cheyene Elizabeth Lyn Grandfield was born on Jan. 21, 2002, in Taylorville, Il., to Gene Grandfield and step-mother Christine Marty. She has two sisters named Dakota Grandfield and Paytyn Grandfield. She also has two step-brothers named Keegan Marty and Kamrun Marty.

Grandfield plans to attend Richland Community College to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She chose this career because she loves to help people out.

Grandfield has been in the Meridian School District for 12 years and has participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA). She also helped the drama club to take tickets for the play one year.

Grandfield will look forward to having a good job and being able to have any dogs that she would like. However, she will miss all of the laughs and being able to go to the office to see Lori Huggins.

Grandfield has many memories of her time at Meridian. Like in third grade, when the class was in their roller skating unit for P.E. She had just gotten off of the practice mat and right as she made it off, a big group of boys came around her really fast and she fell, which resulted in a broken wrist.

Grandfield would like to thank her fellow classmates for the best memories and laughs they all had.
