Taylor Pagel has attended the Meridian School District for 12 years.

Taylor Kathryn Pagel was born on Jan. 7, 2002, at the ACMC hospital in Marshall, Minnesota, to Gary and Patty Pagel. She has two siblings named Haley Pagel and Kolby Pagel.

Pagel plans to attend Illinois State University to study nutrition and dietetics. She wants to be a dietitian because it has interested her for a while due to her foods class.

Pagel has attended Meridian all 12 years and has participated in softball for seven years, volleyball for seven years, FCA for three years, FCS club for three years, National Honor Society (NHS) for three years, and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) for three years. During her time off from school last summer she worked as a park leader for the Decatur Park District.

Pagel looks forward to making new friends and new memories in the future. However, she will miss seeing her friends and teachers every day.

Pagel has a lot of memories from her time at Meridian School District that she will always remember. For example, all of the athletic games she has been able to play in. All of the weird conversations she has had at lunch and all of the fun times that she had in her classes with all of her friends. On a sweet note, she will always remember the days when she first made her friends that are still around today. She also remembers when the softball team won their regional championships and sectional championships. She remembers when she got chased by Greg Streevel in the four-wheeler and all of the bus rides with the baseball boys.

Pagel would like her fellow senior classmates to know she will miss you, loves you, and is thankful to you for shaping her into the person she is today. Also, she would not be here without everybody helping her.
