Hailey Wendowski joined the Meridian School District in second grade.

Hailey May Wendowski was born on June 4, 2002, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, to her mother Cortney Wendowski. She has a six-year-old brother named Nolan Householder.

Wendowski plans to attend Richland Community College and transfer to another university to study psychology with the plans to become a psychologist. She desires this career because she wants to help people in a way she is good at.

Wendowski joined the Meridian School District in second grade and has participated in Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) for three years, drama club for three years, and soccer for one year. On her time off from school, Wendowski spent her time working at Dairy Queen for a year and has currently been at Bob Brady for eight months.

Wendowski looks forward to getting out of this small town that she has lived in her whole life and into a bigger city. However, she will miss the relationships she has made with teachers and friends that she will not see as much of.

Wendowski remembers in Sheila Moore’s sophomore English two class the time that Taylor Pagel asked Moore to ask Eric Hurelbrink whether or not he used lotion on his head. Another memory is when the drama club put on the production of Mamma Mia! and how she and Hannah Reichert taught the cast the dance moves to Voulez-Vou one day. They watched a part of a video of the dance on YouTube over and over again until they felt comfortable enough to teach it to the rest of the cast, they did this with each part. When it came to the pairs portion of the song, Reichert and Wendowski would routinely hop in with other cast members to show specific moves.

Wendowski would like her fellow classmates to know that she misses them and hopes they are doing okay.
