Rylie Casey went on the Greece and Italy trip over the summer after fundraising. One place she visited was the Vatican City.

“My favorite part in The Vatican City was the St. Peter’s Basilica.”

“The whole experience was amazing, and the architecture of the buildings was beautiful,” said Casey about the city.

But it wasn’t entirely easy being there trying to listen and learn the language while having a select diet due to being a vegetarian.

“I was given specific meals apart from everyone else.”

It wasn’t completely terrible though, the trip taught Casey how to be more independent. “I learned ti amo which means I love you in Italian.”
