Corryn Brock, Reporter

Corryn Brock is a 17-year-old senior at Meridian High School in her third year as a journalism student. She is also the Stage Manager for the Drama Club and the Business Manager for Yearbook. Brock received third place in Photo Story Telling at the IJEA Sectionals and won Best of Show in the first annual Mattoon Arts Council Photography Show. Brock attended the Illinois Press Foundation Journalism Workshop at Eastern Illinois University. She will return to EIU in the fall of 2018 where she plans to major in Journalism and minor in one of three possibilities (Broadcast Meteorology, Photojournalism, or Pre-Law Studies).
