Super Bowl 53 will take place this Sunday, February 3, at 5:30 p.m. The New England Patriots will take on the Los Angeles Rams at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Students have different thoughts on who they want to win and why, so pick your side and enjoy the game.

There are a lot more things going on than just the game on Sunday. For example, there will be a good amount of celebrity Super Bowl parties going on, from the Rolling Stone Super Bowl party to the Playboy Super Bowl party. You can easily buy your way in and party with some celebrities for around 500 dollars a ticket. Everyone will hang out with friends and family while they enjoy amazing food.

Entertainment at the Super Bowl is always top-notch if you have ever watched the halftime show, they spare no expense. This year during the halftime show, Maroon 5 will headline the performance, Travis Scott and Big Boi will perform as well. The national anthem will be performed by Gladys Knight an R&B, soul, pop, and gospel singer.

Students at Meridian High School are clashing about who will win this year and why. However, it seems that most students are rooting for the Rams. Many students feel that with the Patriots going to the Super Bowl last year, that they want the Rams to win. There are also many people who have negative thoughts on Tom Brady and his history in football.

Ram’s fan, Kyle Farmer (senior) said, “I think a lot of people would like to see the Rams win because they are tired of Tom Brady always winning.”

With Super Bowl 53 going on Sunday, there will be many parties and people enjoying the game. Many students plan to hang out with family and cheer for their team (or a team they hate the least) to win.
