The Meridian Daily is the student publication of Meridian High School in Macon, Illinois. This publication, which began as The Hawks Eye in 2012, changed its name to The Meridian Daily in 2013. Since its inception, the online publication has served as an open forum where students can share school, local and world news with the Macon, Blue Mound, Boody, Decatur, and surrounding communities.

Signed editorial pieces reflect the positions of the individual staff member. Opinion pieces do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Meridian school district.
