Don’t worry, unlike most articles, there will be no spoilers if you have not seen the movie yet. Here is the summary of what is going on in the movie according to the internet.
“Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, the galaxy faces a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren and the First Order. When a defector named Finn crash-lands on a desert planet, he meets Rey, a tough scavenger whose droid contains a top-secret map. Together, the young duo joins forces with Han Solo to make sure the Resistance receives the intelligence concerning the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, the last of the Jedi Knights.” (Summary as written on IMDb.)
Personally, I have never seen the other Star Wars movies but was pumped to see this one. Walking into that movie theater I could tell everyone else was pumped up too, the theater was full of people and everyone was talking. If you are like me and had no idea what was going on, it is okay. The movie itself was really good but that is just my opinion. From what I have heard from people, the plot was pretty much the same. Not to name any spoilers, but there are a few surprises in the movie including a big cliffhanger at the end so we all know another movie is going to be coming along. I would end up giving this movie 4 and a half stars out of 5.
